Curriculum development

The provision of distance education has been both supportive and dissenting. The development of the proposed bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees has been discussed. The majority of the opposition fears that Bodhisatta University will follow in the footsteps of mainstream universities, which are facing the challenges of rapid demographic and technological change. There are even estimates that the university era may soon be over.

I understand that there is no understanding or understanding of the details. Therefore, I would like to present the reasons and basic necessity first. We will understand the details in the future.

1. To enable communication between BOU, mainstream educational institutions and general students.

2. Education is through distance learning, e-Learning and self-learning. Master's and doctoral degrees are research programs.

3. Open education in both the regular education system and the transfer system. Regular education students are students who have no life experience, no career experience, and no practical experience. They are students who have just completed high school or grade 12 in the high school curriculum or equivalent.

4. For groups of students with experience, they can choose to study according to their suitability, for example, a bachelor's degree requires 7 semesters of study. Students with experience may transfer credits for 1 semester, study for only 6 semesters, or transfer credits for 2 semesters, study for only 5 semesters, or transfer credits for 6 semesters, study for only 1 semester. In other words, students should have at least 1 semester of activities with the university or affiliated institution so that they understand the philosophy of the university and receive sufficient cultivation.

5. The number of credits a student can transfer is determined by the affiliated institution. For courses that are not eligible for transfer, the affiliated institution must also inform the university of the grades of those courses for transcript preparation.

6. Staying at the institution for 1 semester, you may apply to study directly with the university or an affiliated institution. If applying with an affiliated institution, the affiliated institution should inform the university of the student's name in order to register for a student ID number before applying for a student card.

7. Allow affiliated institutions to manage the curriculum, but be careful that it is not an undergraduate level teaching program in the classroom, which may be risky according to the law.

8. Teaching and learning management at the bachelor's level still emphasizes on practical implementation until results are achieved or on the extension of successful results, which is knowledge management.
